Tǽillo: Furniture Rebranding Culture in Nigeria

Taeillo is on a mission to rebrand culture through design. I once read a quote by Taeillo, “Nobody is interested in our culture because we have not made it appealing”. This statement I believe is generational. We certainly have a lost culture. Especially this generation. I’m not even sure what to expect of generations after this.

Part of which is what Bellafricana is restoring, just as Taeillo says… the only way we can change this is to “Brand our culture positively and use it as a tool of influence”. And I couldn’t agree more.. Welcome to the Modern Africa.

Opportunities In A Recession: The Role of Creative Enterprise

The Nigeria-Britain Association held a seminar to discuss Opportunities in a recession and the role of Creative Enterprise, which recently took place at The Lagos Resource Centre, 9 Anifowoshe street Victoria Island, Lagos at 9am. The aim of the lecture-seminar was to give participants tools with which to grow their creative businesses including information on how to access existing platforms for skills and funding that can enhance their business growth, especially in a recession.
