Creative MSMEs have invaded Nigeria (Africa) and we certainly are not complaining.
In 2016, it became apparent that Nigeria was an import driven nation and that was how the “buy Naija to grow the Naira” came to be.

A fresh year is on the calendar and it is almost time for the second edition of the annual African Creative Exhibition and Awards (termed ACE Awards) hosted by Bellafricana. It brings to Lagos the best creative minds in the fields of Art and Craft, Fashion, Manufacturing, Beauty, Food Produce and so much more.
At the end of every year there is always a strong urge to reflect on the just concluded year. Firstly grateful to God for the good and the bad and planning in advance for the year to come. Thankful to my husband, my family, my staff (Gbemi & Dora), my mentors (Prince Adeyemi Adefulu, Mr Lanre Adisa, Mrs Joyce Akpata, Mr Segun Awolowo and much more), friends, destiny helpers, all verified business owners and you. Thank you for supporting Bellafricana through this year. This post is basically to give you an highlight of how year 2017 was for us at Bellafricana. It was truly an amazing year for the brand.

The Founder, Bukky Asehinde, wonders, “Why should we wait on financial backing from the government and big institutions to help this industry? When we can create a platform to connect these Afrocentric businesses, they are maximising raw materials in Nigeria (Africa), providing employment for local talents within the country and creating wealth for the Nation”.
